The Wonders (and Horrors) of Bleach...

So, I learned two lessons yesterday. First (the wonders)... the little tip I read somewhere about cleaning a dirty sink by laying down bleach-soaked towels in it overnight WORKS... YAY! The sink in the old house (still trying to sell it...) looks SO much better! Second (the horrors)... when you gently shake out the bleach-soaked towels, be very careful that 10 big droplets aren't finding their way to one of your favorite pairs of capris... especially if they are cute green ones... even if they were free hand-me-downs from a friend... ugh. Oh well. Life goes on. I suppose it could have been a tougher lesson. And I was being so careful not to get it on my skin or in my eyes...! Beware the magical properties of bleach....
